Desiree serves as Executive Assistant both principals and brings to Burgess Leighton extensive experience and expertise in executive search. Prior to joining the Burgess Leighton team, Desiree served as executive assistant to a partner at Spencer Stuart for over two years. Previously within Spencer Stuart she had supported Tim Pirrung directly, from which time the two had developed a mutual respect and synergistic working relationship.

Desiree was recruited to Spencer Stuart after establishing a solid reputation in the search industry through her work at Heidrick & Struggles in Orange County, California. Previously in her career she served as an executive assistant at such companies as Wilmington Trust Company, MBNA America, First USA and Ford Motor Company.

A native of Delaware, Desiree has lived and worked primarily in California and Florida. When not devoting time to her husband and two sons, she enjoys scrapbooking, Pilates and other fitness activities.
